A Note to Pros: Handy’s Response to FTC and NYAG Agreement

The FTC's and New York Attorney General's announcement was about a settlement agreement -- one in which Handy does not admit any wrongdoing nor was any wrongdoing found. While confident we could win this case, we decided to settle the matter so we could focus our resources and attention supporting our customers: the small businesses who help Americans care for and maintain their homes.

 

We are grateful to have earned the privilege of becoming trusted partners to thousands of local handymen, house cleaners, plumbers and electricians like you. Over the years, we have strived to continually improve the Handy platform to better serve you. We have improved job search options and simplified and reduced our fees. Our desire to keep doing better for our customers is a key driver of our business: it’s why we’ve successfully grown to support tens of thousands of home service pros who execute millions of home improvements, repair and maintenance projects across the country.  We look forward to partnering with you for years to come.
